National bike show encourages the community to march through the neighborhood to say no to violence

FRESNO, CA - As gang violence has been at the forefront of neighborhoods in Southwest Fresno, community organizations, churches and leaders are looking for different ways to speak up and out for a greater cause.

Last weekend a block party in that area hosted by the Fresno Police Department and a host of other organizations sought to celebrate cultural diversity and community togetherness.

Saturday, April 7th, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Feed My Sheep Ministries continues the effort to calm the streets utilizing 7th Annual National Bike Show at Fink White Park in Fresno, CA.

The event is to bring families and their children out to enjoy the neighborhood, without fear: from live music, free food, to a kid's zone and to over 30 free bikes to give away, Feed My Sheep Ministries is bringing organizations and churches together for a common cause: "no more violence, please stop shooting."

The event is said to start off with a march to say "no to violence"; KOKO 94.3 FM Radio is hosting a dance contest during the event followed by cash prizes for the participants.

This event is free to the public. For more information, please see commercial above.
