FRESNO, CA – The California League of Schools (CLS) is hosting its annual Middle School Educator of the Year Dinner to recognize educators that have made significant efforts to implement elements of educational reform in middle schools. The event will be held at:

The CLS is a non-profit educators’ association encompassing the communities of California League of High Schools, California League of Middle schools, and California League of Elementary Schools. The CSL is dedicated to assisting K-12 educators to increase student learning through useful, evidence-based professional development and other resources as well as provide a recognition for high achieving educators.

Each year, CLS, Region 7 elicits Educators of the Year nominations from middle schools throughout Fresno, Kern, Kings, Madera, Mariposa, Merced and Tulare counties. This award is given annually to educators who consistently exemplify exceptional characteristic from the entries received. Up to the top ten finalists from each region will be honored locally at the dinner. The nominee selected to represent each region will subsequently be honored at the CL Annual Northern CA Conference in March.
