Prayer on the “No” is designed to bring together families who have lost loved ones to violence with efforts to stop the violence within our community.
The chain of prayer will be on Fresno Street starting at E. California Ave and Fresno Street and go all the way to Fresno St and A St. at 11AM. The hope is that putting people on each block will show support for those who want to take back their neighborhoods and stop the violence.
The event will conclude with a rally at 12:00 PM at Kearney Blvd - 901 Fresno Street. hearing from those families that have been affected by violence and others sharing words of encouragement.
