24th Annual African American High School Recognition Ceremony provides students with determination a

FRESNO, CA--271 African-American High School students from throughout the Central Valley participated in the 24th Annual African American High School Recognition Ceremony hosted by the the San Joaquin Valley Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

The recognition ceremony held at the Save Mart Center this past Sunday featured speaker Dr. Tanya A. Fisher, superintendent of Selma Unified School District, and an array of scholarship presentations from different organizations and businesses from throughout the Valley.
