Eligibility Check List:

□ Silicon Valley graduating high school senior

□ Resident of Silicon Valley

□ Official sealed transcript

□ Completed application

□ Signed application

Two sealed letters of recommendation

□ Complete 300 - 400-word essay

□ Optional: additional description of honors, sports, activities, etc.

□ Application must be received by: April 22, 2022

□ Must attend interview (if chosen as finalist) TBA

□ Awardees attend scholarship presentation ceremony

□ Full-time student Fall 2022

□ Provide proof of enrollment by: 10-1-2022

2022 Ivy and Pearls Foundation Scholarship $1,500-$3,000 Awards for Bay Area High School Seniors

The Ivy and Pearls Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that provides scholarships to outstanding high school students in the greater Bay Area of African and African-American descent. The Foundation has proudly awarded thousands of dollars in scholarships to students in the Bay Area to fund their future educational aspirations and goals.

APPLICATION DEADLINE: MARCH 31, 2022

APPLICANT PROFILE

*Applicants must be of African or African-American descent
 

 
*Applicants must reside in San Mateo County, Santa Clara County, Alameda County, San Francisco City/County, or Contra Costa County
 

 
*Applicants may be female, male, or non-binary
 

 
*Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale
 

 
*Applicant must be a high school senior, graduating in Spring 2022
 

 
*Applicant must be accepted to a two-year, four-year, or vocational college and show proof of enrollment before scholarship funds will be dispersed.

FURTHER APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS - All documents must be uploaded to the Google form link

*2022 Scholarship Essay – no more than two (2) pages, typed and double-spaced
 

 
*Two (2) Letters of Recommendation – teacher, counselor, principal, coach, or individual familiar with your personal achievements
 

 
*Unofficial high school transcript, including grades from Fall Semester 2021 (may be uploaded and attached to your online submission)
 

 
*Verification of a minimum of twenty (20) completed community service hours (hours listed on your transcript are considered “verified”)
