ONME Podcast Network adds Roku, Amazon Fire TV to its distribution list, also watch latest podcasts

As the demand for over-the-top (OTT) media services is accumulating in the millions, people are finding new ways to view premiere video content other than through cable or satellite subscriptions. Instead they are depending on OTT services to provide for their niche watching habits, often available through mobile as well. Netflix, Hulu and Amazon are just a few of these type of premier OTT services.

The term OTT is defined as a streaming media service offered directly to viewers via the Internet. OTT bypasses cable, broadcast, and satellite television. Now the ONME Podcast Network is able to appeal to more OTT users who have cut the chord and are exploring economical online options to view niche content--Amazon Fire TV and Roku are two distribution additions.

Amazon Fire TV now has more than 40 million active accounts, up from 34 million active users that were announced back in May 2019.

Roku has 30.5 million active accounts where viewers streamed 500 million more hours in Q2 for 9.4 billion hours total.
